One of the ways black locust develops is through fire. It consumes the thick seed coat of this plant, allowing it to germinate in entirely new circumstances. The blue, fancifully fused slag, resembling a hidden precious metal in the ground, serves as a kind of evidence, but also as a beautiful fruit of a past fire. Paper is the frame of the installation. Working with this material allows me to firmly anchor myself in the entire history of culture recorded through writing or image. In this case, on a new sheet, I write down the words of the epilogue. It is precisely the paper that assures me that in every story, there is a place for some afterward.
